I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and that Santa was very good to y’all. Mine was very nice, but quiet. Funny how one person missing from the family can make such a difference but with my son in Chicago, it was different this year. And of course, even though I don’t typically celebrate Christmas with my Mom, I felt the loss of her big time. She loved Christmas so much and really embraced the holiday and that is where I get my love for it as well. This year we took a little break from opening presents and were just sitting in the living room listening to Christmas music when her favorite song came on.. Rocking Around the Christmas sang by Brenda Lee, so it was like she was thinking of us… All and all it was a lovely day.

Oh we went to the movies and seen New Year’s Eve, really cute movie. We went with my son and his g/f on Christmas night and we all enjoyed it. And last night Rob and I watched Senna, a movie about an F1 racer and it was EXCELLENT. If you watch or are interested in F1 I suggest you watch it if given the opportunity.

Yesterday I took down all the Christmas decor except the tree and that is coming down today. Rob is going to leave the outside lights up until after New Years. We are having a small party on NYE this year and I don’t want to think about taking down the tree on New Years Day after partying the night before, LOL. When do you take your tree down?

So like I said we are having a small party on NYE and I have purchased a few hats and tierra’s, I just need to run out and grab a few noise makers. The weather is warming up a bit and suppose to be 73 so it should be nice to sit around the fire pit.

Later today I have a really hot update going up. One of my friends came over last week when Rob was out doing guitars with a friend and I had my own little play date that got a little messy, hehe… I think you will like it, or at least I hope you will :)

Lastly I will get with Faith this week to see if we can get a date for our next M & G, probably last weekend of Jan or early Feb, I will keep ya posted..
