Look at me, updating my blog again :) woohoo!! So as you know if you have read my blog that I joined a running group. We are currently running 90 seconds and recovering two minutes and then doing it again. My goal has always been to do better than the last time I ran. Wednesday I ran 5.5 of the 6 90 second runs. Now I know this might not sound like much to some, but I am very proud of myself and the progress I have made. Last night I ran 7 90 second times, woohoo, go me.

I also have been tracking my total steps and trying to get at least 10,000 steps in each day. And let me tell you, that is not as easy as it sounds, LOL. Since starting my tracking on April 29th I have met my goal every day but one :( Last night after my running group I had still not met my goal, so I went to the gym and rode the bike for a bit to meet my goal and I did it. I ended up doing 7.5 miles on the bike and exceeded my goal for the day!!

Happy Tuesday!

Well last night was the fourth time for my run group. I made a big mistake and went to the gym the same day as my running group and my legs are still sore today, LOL. Last night we changed the program to 90 seconds running/jogging and 2 minutes recovering. I was able to jog 4.5 of the 90 second times. The picture below is a screen print of my fitbit tracker, I made my goal on steps walked, but not my distance.

Running and tracking

If you read my previous post from yesterday, you know that I started a walking/running program. Today was day three and my goal was to run more than I ran on Wednesday. So we run/job/or power walk if you can run for 60 seconds and recover for 90. We did 8 run segments and I was able to job for 6 of them, I did 5 on Wednesday. I know that may sound lame, but I am pretty damn impressed with myself, LOL. Once we are able to job all 8 of them without power walking any of it and just walk during the recover period, we move to 90 seconds of run time. I am going to attempt to do the 8 on Monday, we will see how it goes :)

I purchased a clip on tracker that tracks my calories burned, distance walked and even allows me to log on and enter my food and drinks and other things, I am really liking it so far and it just clips right onto my pants :)

Naughty, naughty girl

I have been a naughty, naughty girl and the good kind of naughty either. I have neglected my blog for way to long and need to change my ways.. Sorry :(

First let me say thank you to all of you that sent me messages of encouragement while I was ill. First I got that nasty head hold with a cough that was just killing me. It felt like I was trying to cough up a lung, I still have a tiny bit of it left, but everyday is better. And my shingles are just about gone and I was so very lucky to get a very mild case, thank goodness.

My son and his girlfriend are visiting from Chicago and I am really enjoy the visit with them. Yesterday his g/f and I went and had pedi’s and did some shopping and lunch, it was a very nice day.

This week I joined a Walking/Running Group. I have always wanted to run, but could never really do it by myself. By that I mean I could never figure out the breathing and running and how to get started without getting feeling overwhelmed and ready to quit. The course I am doing is an eight week course and they say that by the end of the eight weeks we should be able to run 3 miles. I go every Mon/Wed/Fri and have been twice so far and I am enjoying. We are currently doing 60 seconds jogging/90 seconds recovery and we are to run what we feel we can run. If we are not able to run, we should power walk the 60 second run part. My goal is to do better than the prior days run. I am really liking it so far….

Wonderful Spring..

It is Spring and I am loving in here in AZ, it has simply been beautiful. I know there are a lot of areas around the country that is still dealing with cold weather, my son in Chicago had his second day of snow, but AZ is AWESOME!

We celebrated St Patty’s Day with our friends Rachel and Buzz Aziani. It almost didn’t happen as someone, me, forgot my license. The bar we went to was not letting me in without my ID. After we walked away and tried a few different things, Rob went up to a police office and was able to talk him into letting me in, LOL. It was crazy, seriously I am flattered but there is NO way in hell I don’t pass for over 21, hehe

Last weekend we took in a Cub’s/Angels game and the weather could not have been better.

So the spring has gone well so far :)

BIG Changes at Dreamnet

So incase you haven’t found out yet, Dreamnet has made a major change in the way they/we operate. Since the beginning of Dreamnet it has always been one individual price for every single girl. Today it was in the 90′s here in AZ, cooling off tomorrow and going to be in the 80′s for the next few days.. I did have the opportunity to take in a Spring Training a couple weeks ago, thanks to a friend. My son and I really enjoyed the afternoon. Hubby and I are going to take in an Angels Spring Training game before the season is over.

Sweet temptation

Happy Be-lated Valentine’s, I hope you all had a delightfully sweet and perhaps a bit naughty day, hehe. I spent the day with my sweetie of 28 years :)

I hope you have enjoyed my last few updates from our photo day. Tried to get out and do something some place new and I am going to try to find some outside areas to shoot as well. I have a friend that I am going to go to his condo and shoot some new stuff too, so more new scenery :)

New site/blog..

Most of you kow that follow me on twitter and reading some of my blog post, I love making Jell-O shots. So this weekend I made a few new ones and it got me to thinking.. I should do a site where I take pics of my shots and post the recipes online with it. So Rob said he would help me put something together as he thought it was a good idea also. So what I need is a name for this site.

I thought I would put it out there to see if any of you have any suggestions for the name. If I use your suggestion, I will set you up with access to my site or something that is mutually agreeable by both parties :) Now a couple of things before your start posting suggestions.

* Please go to HOVER.COM and make sure the name is available for purchase. I only want .com suggestions and I am not looking to pay big bucks for it, LOL. This is a site I will not be making money off of, just something for fun so I don’t want to spend the cash for a name.

* I DO NOT want “Jell-O” in the name. I don’t want the Jell-O company for some reason coming back to me and making me change it.

* I DO NOT want a name that is associated with my site, except perhaps my name “Dawn Marie” as that is truly my name, LOL and would have no problem using it as part or even just Dawn as that is what my family and friends mostly call me. I do not want an “adult” oriented name.

Where does time go??

I can’t believe it is the end of August already, this summer has just flown by. I had two wonderful vacation with family and am home it looks like for the rest of this year. I have a busy next couple of weekends. Next Friday we are spending the night at a local resort and going to shoot some new pics. Saturday we have a party to go to and the rest of the holiday weekend not much is planned. Monday the 3rd is the first Anniversary of my Mom’s death and I don’t really anticipate doing much that day.

The following weekend after the holiday we have a big party planned. My honey is turning 50 on the 8th and we are having our close group of friends over to help him celebrate. I looking forward to spending the evening with him and all our closest friends.

I have had two Happy Hours so far with a small turn out at both. I am not bummed by that, it has actually been nice to spend one on one time with those that have come out. I had a friend suggest that maybe I should do two a month, one on Friday and one during the week. What do you think? If I had one say on a Wednesday or Thursday would you be tempted in coming out???

Some exciting news..

I have decided I would like to try and do periodic Happy Hours. I will do at least one a month and sometimes more and I would like to do them at various locations around the valley. The Happy Hours will be on Fridays and I will post them on the http://www.funinphoenix.com webpage. Go to the page ans sign up for the notices so that you will know when new events have been posted. I will try and give as much notice as I possibly can and hope that it is something fun that you would want to do and would come out and join me for at least one. I want to thank everyone for the Birthday Wishes, you all make me feel so very special and for that I appreciate it very much. My great niece who just turned 5 last month sent me one of my favorite gifts, a coffee cup she painted for me. It has these blue dots and it has an A – F – D on those dots diagonally which stands for “Aunt Favorite Dawn”. Years ago when she was like two I started telling her that I was her favorite aunt and out of that came Aunt Favorite Dawn which she now thinks is truly my name and that is what she calls me by, hehe… Love it…

Funny story

As you know I was on vacation last week with my family. The last night we were there I headed to this local bar, The Red Bar, which we walked to, about a mile and a half down the beach. We had a great evening of cocktails and conversation with hubby, my son and his g/f. When we left I thought to myself, I should really go to the restroom, but decided against it. Needless to say, half way back to our house I decided I had to go. So hubby and I head up away from the water so I could go pee. Now it was dark and no one was around us so a bit up from the water I pop a squat and start to go when Rob decides to say something funny which makes me loose my balance. Yep you guessed it, I fell ass back in the sand, LOL. I tried to wipe off as much as I could, but I ended up with sand in my panties, LOL. It was a hilarious ending to a really fun evening.

I want to say THANK YOU to someone very special to me. I met him through my website and he has become more than a member/fan of my site, but a true friend of mine who I simply adore. I am collect the tabs from soda cans for the Ronald McDonald House. My son’s girlfriends 3 1/2 year old cousin was recently diagnosed with Kidney Cancer and this is just a very small way that I can help. Ronald McDonald House collects the tabs for the Phoenix Children’s Hospital and they are recycled and the funds collected is used to cover some of the overhead cost of running the facility.. Anyway, my dear friend Patrick sent me this package Friday.. of course the stockings and Victoria’s Secret Gift Card are for me, hehe..

If anyone else would like to save the tabs and send them to me that would be AWESOME, just email me for information.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Had a wonderful day, went to dinner with Rob and our son. Got a beautiful bracelet from Rob and my boys got me new Tom’s.. Hope everyone had a wonderful day with the ones they loved. It was a bit sad today and I had a few moments thinking about my Mom, my first Mother’s Day without her. So happy she is at peace and I have so many fond memories to last forever..

What’s up??

I apologize also for not having a cam show the last several weeks. First I was dealing with my Dad being moved to Hospice and then going home to KY for his funeral after his death and then my work schedule was a conflict. Crazy past week and another coming up.

I was so lucky to be able to go the the Sweet 16 and Elite Games here in Phoenix on Thursday and Saturday. I want to thank my Member/Friend Stan for asking me to accompany him again to the tourney. The Louisville/Florida game was just crazy, I didn’t think Louisville was going to be able to pull it off, but they did at the very end.

This week I am working Monday and have errands to run afterwards. Tuesday I have to close at work. Wednesday I am covering an early shift for a co-worker and then going to a Spring Training game with a few friends. Thursday and Friday I will be at the Phoenix Forum all day and Saturday we have a Phoenix Meet & Greet. Oh and KY plays Louisville on Saturday, GO KY!!

Oh and I did do something kind of naughty this past week, vbeg. We had a friend over and we sat around the fire pit having a few drinks and great conversation and laughs. This is someone that I have been kind of flirting with and have seen him on a few occasions over the past year. Well when it was time for him to go, I walked him through my garage to his car which was parked in the driveway. A goodnight kiss turned into more kissing, all of this while standing in my driveway. We decided to move inside the garage and continued our making out. We heard a noise outside so I closed the garage and back to business we went, hehe.. We both ended up with our shirts off and his pants down and there I was in my garage giving him a blow job. It was so freakin’ hot and exciting, so much that I even swallowed and we all know how often I do that, hehe… Perhaps I can twist his arm to do a bit more the next time we see each other :)~

Lastly I will be back to my regular Cam Schedule the first week of April, just been a hectic two weeks…

The new year

So what do you have planned for this year? Are you one of those people that make resolutions? If so do you keep them? I have several trips planned this year and hope to do a couple little trips with hubby for some fun ;) I don’t make resolutions, but I have been working on dropping a few pounds and I need to make getting to the gym more of a priority.

So did you see my update about going back to work? Well I have been off since July and starting to get a bit stir crazy. It was nice because my niece came to visit after I quit, then we went to Chicago and then our move and lastly the holidays.. but now I am ready and I will be going back to work on Feb 1.

Oh yeah and I will try to make my blog a priority too, if you see it has been more than a week that I posted, bust my chops, LOL…

Happy Holidays!

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and that Santa was very good to y’all. Mine was very nice, but quiet. Funny how one person missing from the family can make such a difference but with my son in Chicago, it was different this year. And of course, even though I don’t typically celebrate Christmas with my Mom, I felt the loss of her big time. She loved Christmas so much and really embraced the holiday and that is where I get my love for it as well. This year we took a little break from opening presents and were just sitting in the living room listening to Christmas music when her favorite song came on.. Rocking Around the Christmas sang by Brenda Lee, so it was like she was thinking of us… All and all it was a lovely day.

Oh we went to the movies and seen New Year’s Eve, really cute movie. We went with my son and his g/f on Christmas night and we all enjoyed it. And last night Rob and I watched Senna, a movie about an F1 racer and it was EXCELLENT. If you watch or are interested in F1 I suggest you watch it if given the opportunity.

Yesterday I took down all the Christmas decor except the tree and that is coming down today. Rob is going to leave the outside lights up until after New Years. We are having a small party on NYE this year and I don’t want to think about taking down the tree on New Years Day after partying the night before, LOL. When do you take your tree down?

So like I said we are having a small party on NYE and I have purchased a few hats and tierra’s, I just need to run out and grab a few noise makers. The weather is warming up a bit and suppose to be 73 so it should be nice to sit around the fire pit.

Later today I have a really hot update going up. One of my friends came over last week when Rob was out doing guitars with a friend and I had my own little play date that got a little messy, hehe… I think you will like it, or at least I hope you will :)

Lastly I will get with Faith this week to see if we can get a date for our next M & G, probably last weekend of Jan or early Feb, I will keep ya posted..
